We've been getting calls from the banks about the EFTs we had sent. They seem to not know what an EFT is even if it is spelled out. Although we say it is a discharge instrument and not a cheque, they are not comprehending. Could someone PLEASE help and give us a better way to respond with such phone calls? Since we CANNOT say we made PAYMENT to discharge the debt, what can we say? First it was accepted then it got reversed a few days later. Now the phone calls!!!

1st...Do NOT accept phone calls...They MUST respond by mailing you questions t/b answered.. 2nd..Use letters in back ofc to respond to their qusetions... 3rd..NOT ur job to explain banking rules/laws as they do know the rules; BUT try have you make mistake in the conversation t/b used against you... 4th..They MUST send back the EFT in original form--NOT marked in any way--MUST list its defects for you to correct them & return.... DO NOT FALL FOR ANYTHING THEY SAY OVER PHONE...THE DEBT IS DISCHARGED IF THEY DO NOT RETURN THE ORIGINAL EFT TO YOU....

You may feel nervous because you have not yet fully comprehended the fraud they have perpetrated on the people. Once you master this, and your eyes and ears are fully open, you will see how unbelievable this scam is. It is maliciously brilliant. Also, you will comprehend that it takes a certain type of individual without a conscience to run this system.

OK...U must get the understanding of what Harry said...KNOWLEDGE IS POWERFUL TOOL.. When U get phone call...Ask who R U speaking to? Get name & ID# if they have one... AS you cannot verify that person on the phone....(U need validation of who U R speaking to)
2..Politely tell them u do NOT respond to phone calls, they must send U their questions by mail
3..Tell them to return the EFT -- UNALTERED IN ANY WAY...as our conversation is concluded..
4..Then hang up, IF they call again, respond in same manner, DO NOT ELABORATE! !
5..BE SHORT & QUICK...that puts U in drivers seat....

here is another one ... mortgate was EFT ... followed with appropriate letters, etc. here is an excerpt from a letter received from the bank.
“ Having reviewed the contents of your letters, please be advised that the Bank does not accept the positions set out in your communications, nor do we accept your Notice and Demand. It is our view that the documents contained in your letters are of no legal consequence and therefore do not impose any liability or obligation upon the Bank. Accordingly, we do not understand the purpose and intended effect of your letters. If you wrote the letters for a specific reason, we encourage you to provide us with the reason but kindly as that you communicate with us in plain English. Otherwise, please note that the Bank will not respond to future correspondence from you of this nature.”
help please? anyone?

mamaonthego...Guess U have/do NOT understood the ramifications of EFT... Check out what Nina has said in some of her calls re: BANKING LAW which stipulates..Banks have to process an EFT w/in 72 hours (per UCC 4- found in back ofc) ALSO --SEC rulings mention same so U besst do MORE study on this so U'll UNDERSTAND HOW EFT WORKS...DONT let the banks fool you w/their phony letters...refer back to Harry post #3 above....
